The BlueJay grew from our family's love of Grand Rapids, real estate and hospitality. After founding Urban Soil Realty in 2014 and opening The Finnley in 2021, we saw an opportunity in Downtowns West Side: create a beautiful, flexible place where visitors could feel part of the neighborhood and groups could have the privacy to truly be together.
